Awaken Updates (Week One) Jan 14
Hey Guys!! This is just a trial to see if we all like this for keeping up to date. We'll send out weekly e-mails of what's happening in the hub in Denver and we just need a place for all of you to check in and that all of us can see so we can be praying and in touch with everyone. We all committed at the gathering to checking in once a week, and we'd just like to know where you are and what you are up to, perhaps what God is up to as well :) It's easy!! Just hit comments and leave the info, same with leaving prayer requests or answered prayer below. Blessings, and let me know if there's anything you think could be better about this.

Hey Awakeners,
I miss all of you! It's been a while. I'm Currently at Michigan State University Studying International Relations. I just started here last week, and I'm meeting tons of awesome people. I'm working with International students and having great oportunites to bring truth and hope. Today I worked with this Muslim Dude named Ammad. He's really cool and searching for truth and purpose. Please pray for him. We talked about God, purpose, hope, and heaven for a long time today and I can see that God is moving in his heart.
I'm bummed I missed out on the gathering, and look forward to the next one so I can be refreshed with vision for this movement of God. Thank you all for staying committed in prayer for this movement! You all rock.
Love, Brittany Fox
Yo-yo AWAKEN'ers
Mike Brown here, I'm in Nor-Cal at the moment, it's going to be good to STOP for a little bit as I've been traveling all over the west cost for the last couple weeks...I like this site cause it's supper easy (just so the Hub knows) Peace out guys.
Mike.
Howdy Ho Awaken Peeps!
We had a blast at the gathering and I personally was HUGELY refreshed and just so grateful to spend some time with all ya'll!
So now I am working this week and next and then wrapping up my time at home before I head back to Taiwan and then to Mongolia in early March until beginning of May. I'm really excited because it's a good grounding for beginning to teach.
But my time at home is FLYING! Good but also frustrating because I just can't seem to hang out with enough people and still get everthing I need done. Oh dear... but home is good and it's good being here for a little bit but I am looking forward to going back and getting into more of a "normal" pace. :)
Well can't wait to hear from all of you!
Athena
I'm here in Colorado with the "hub" :)
Hey Guys!
I'm in North Carolina living and working with a missional group of people and also working at my church here--it's awesome! I'm learning so much about how God wants his church to be, and being able to contribute what he's showing me. ...Good to hear what's up with all of you...
What up A crew,
This is temp and christina. I leave for morocco tomorrow and am supper stoked about it. Christina is going to stay and work at my mother's day care for a lil while. We went to this amazing church last tuesday. It was a hiphop church. Same worship songs but they use a turn table instead of drums and guitars. It was amazing!! They also have a dance battle at the end os service every week. The majority of the people where between ages 6 and 16. It encouraged me so much!!
did any one else think that the picture at the top makes Matt Hulst appear to have cleavage? Good job on the site
What up Awakeners!?
I am back in Kona doing IBC and it is just what the Doctor ordered. Just met with Derek and prayed for the nation and for Awaken, we'll be doing that every Sunday at 1:00. My fall was spent in Denver doing a gig at the theme park and working with a youth group. I feel God is leading me to make a 2-3 year commitment overseas, perhaps at a Thailand base. Love all you soldiers,
Keith Irwin

Word to your mom,
This is D-Rice. I'm in Chambersburg, PA right now, livin' with my bro in town and substitute teaching in the elementary schools. After spending this fall in India with the crew, even more I sense that God has plans for me more long term in the nations. Right now the question is do I teach full time until then or do i keep living here with a "short term" mindset. I dunno. Hope you all are well.

Hey Studs,
I have just completed my first quarter in SBS in Kona Hawaii, after which I was priviledged to go the the Assembly in Denver. Now I am back in Kona doing my second quarter of SBS and really seeking God on what he would have me do practically for Awaken at this time. As Keith already said we are meeting every Sunday at 1:00 to pray for Awaken and in general to intercede for America. I can't wait to see how God moves in it. Also I feel that evangelism is to be a big part of what I do here and gaining stories of what God is doing personally through me. One other thought, there is this new thing called "Call 2 All" that is starting, which is a convergence of 40 prayer and missions conferences that will be happening over the next two years. When I heard the message of it, my heart burned with that same passion that I see in Awaken and the same overall vision of global unification of the church under Christ alone. Keep your eyes and ears open to this and other things that we may be able to partner with. Anyway blessings to all, and lets live as temples of God!
Derek
What up awaken crew.....Chris thanks for the cleavage comment (you better watch it...errrr) jk. I am in Iowa at the moment getting ready to head up MN to start school in about a week. I know it is from the lord. I was talking to prof and his wife and him have a big youth conference/ gathering/ something and he was stoked about awaken possibly coming out to it and leading speaking on the main stage and also little break off classes about what our GOd is doing all around the world. Be praying and keep our eyes open because I believe that God is going to start opening up huge doors.
your guys rock
keep painting the world in the color of Jesus
hulster
Thanks for keeping me in the loop! I believe in this thing more than you think. And am committed to challenge you all and promote what I see Jesus doing through Awaken.
What Up AWAKENers,
This is Mike Brown...does anyone know how I can set up an account so my name will come up like the rest of you computer savy people????
I'm still in Nor-Cal, I have one week left then I go to Cambodia! If you guys remember pray for me this weekend, I'll be sharing at my church on Sunday and AWAKEN is going to be a big part of what I talk about!
I like the Mission/Vision statement...I'm not sure what "provide a platform for faith in action." means...a platform for others to put their faith into action? You guys at the hub are awesome! I VALUE YOU GUYS!
Mike.
Yo Yo Awaken Crew...
I am out here in D-town part of the Awaken trio with Daylene and York. We are having a fun time together for sure in the midst of taking Awaken more and more 'out of the clouds.' We have been so encouraged lately as we have already purchased a web site, narrowed down the mission/vision, and connected with partners here in CO that want to help us with our vision. We have our ups and downs for sure but that just makes us lean harder into the Lord. We miss you all and look forward to sharing with you how things progress! Your Brotha from Anotha Motha...Dan
wow! was I the only one who didn't know about this site? it appears I am WAY out of the loop!
I think the way to get your name to appear is to make an account...that is start your own blog and the people without links to their blogs have probably blocked the link to their site function. But you probably figured that out by now! and may neverread this! grr, I can't remember my blogger ID, I wonder if I deleted it.
