AWAKEN in Co. Springs

Yes indeed...Awaken dared to go up to the Christian 'Mecca' of the world, Colorado Springs, Thursday. It was actually an unreal time you guys. Our little trio here in D-town, took the hour and half road trip to meet with two different people about some of the concepts we are looking into with Awaken. It was so rad...we first met with Dustin Barrington, one of the brains behind the computer side of 4K. 4k is sort of a revolutionary way of breaking down the needs and statistics of the world. We shared with him some of our web ideas and he was so stoked and loved our vision. He felt it actually confirmed some of the things God is speaking to him and offered to help in any way he could. After that we got a little Mexican food at one of my favorite little spots,La Cacita! It was unreal! We then cruised over to the new Springs YWAM base to meet with Josh Imhoff. Josh started a ministry called, "Emerge", that essentially sets up speaking tour accross the US raising awareness for missions. It was partially birthed out of Keith Greens vision to shake the Body. Once again, I feel like we encouraged this guys more that he even did to us...which was a lot! We had such similar visions and his team also felt led to start things in CO. Needless to say, we were so stoked about our time and feel like God is really in the directors chair.
